Elsy offers a holistic approach to the care we offer, ensuring that our participants experience quality of life and happiness, alongside specialised care needs. Combining living assistance with personal services, social opportunities and support to engage in activities and interests – the Elsy team is passionate about seeing our participants grow.
Elsy offers residential care or Supported Independent Living (SIL) through our brand new and well appointed SIL homes across Newcastle & Lake Macquarie.
Elsy also offers respite care or short term accommodation (STA) for short stays or as the name says just some respite from your current living circumstances. STA can be useful to trial moving into an Elsy home, and participants who have tried this have had a blast!
Elsy provides community supports, support to access the community and in-home care so we can come to you. Finally we offer access to the Sixth Street Café our day hub and learning programme in Boolaroo.
With all of these ways to access NDIS supports from Elsy the first step is to either fill in the intake form at the top of this page or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Elsy team has made assisting our participants with applications and getting set up a priority, we provide support from the first contact through to the finalised plan and service agreement. Making the decision to access Supported Independent Living and care can be daunting enough, and the process can seem overwhelming – but it doesn’t have to be!
Our 6-step simple process starts with a phone call, the Elsy team will do the rest.

Have a meeting with one of our operations team so we can get to know you a bit better and you can see some of the team or our Supported Independent Living homes to get a feel for us.
We will send you an application form for one of our Supported Independent Living homes or Community Support services so we can learn more about you. If you have an NDIS plan this is quick – if you don’t we will help you find the right help
We finalise your support plan with input from your Coordinator of Supports, your family or anyone else who is helping you.
We complete your documentation and agreements.
You move into your Living Cool (L&C) Elsy Home – this can be on a gradual basis with short stays or move in right away.
