NDIS Day Programme at The Sixth Street Cafe, 27a Sixth Street, Boolaroo, NSW 2284
This is a 4-day a week program, open to existing clients of Elsy and new clients to access a unique day program operating from the Sixth Street Café Boolaroo.
Please note that from 2024, given the cost of our sessions, our classes are drop-off programmes for Elsy support workers to provide support. As ever there are no hidden or additional costs to participants.
Mondays is cookery with Chef Jimmy from 9am to 3pm! Tuesdays and Wednesdays is our Art Programme from 11am-3pm with our excellent Art Teacher Alison Walker – please click on the “book now” button below. Fridays is our TGIF Socials Programme with picnics, trips, movies, bowling and more!
For a taster session, or our regular social events clients can attend with their family or a support worker as part of our commitment to inclusivity from another organisation.
The idea of the program is to focus on social and community engagement for clients with NDIS funding to build new relationships and connections in their local community centred around the café.
The program will consist of different group activities such as arts and crafts, exercise, media, and life skills. Each individual group will consist of a structured approach to reach set objectives in ensuring clients are meeting NDIS plan goals and capacity building.
