The Media Skills workshop aims towards building new skills and building a social group for clients to be able to meet outside of supported services and independently discuss topics.
Anime Group – to have a group to be review and discuss the medium of Japanese anime and or other variations of anime. To discuss the designs and recreate anime as an arts project.
Movie Group – to go through various decades of movies to build social connections in movie interests and build new friendships.
Gaming Group – to review various versions of gaming mediums such as board games, card games, video games. To build new connections for the clients to socialize outside of supported services.
Computer Literacy Group – to assist clients in being able to show them computer basic literacy skills to be able to access emails, send emails, using various software programs and budgeting for purchase of a computer.
Designing and Broadcast – using canva on our media PCs, using iphones to create social media posts, blogging content and artwork working towards creating paid work
