Abbey leads the entire organisation at Elsy.
Abbey has spent 8 years in Disability Care as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, and SIL Team Leader across Children’s Care, Adult Care and Flexible Supports.
Abbey is expert in positive behaviour support, person-centred practices and active support, coordination of staffing, planning and NDIS reporting, client management and documentation.
After working with Life Without Barriers, Abbey was attracted to the mission and vision of Elsy and leading a fast growing and high quality support worker team, the Elsy family, to provide outstanding care to participants and families.
Emma is team leader for 4 of our Supported Independent Living homes.
Emma has been in disability care for 8 years in Victoria, and when she moved to Newcastle she looked us up!
Emma embodies a real ability to manage teams and support our participants to achieve their goals. An attention to detail, and real passion for care, you will find her beaming her smile across our organisation.
After working at a range of providers in Victoria, in support and leadership roles Emma was attracted to Elsy by the growth and dynamism of the organisation and we found that about her too!
Tom is team leader for 4 of our Supported Independent Living homes.
Tom has been in disability and youth care for 11 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in supporting participants with a range of conditions. He embodies a calm respect and inquisitive nature which helps him really understand, support and motivate our participants and staff team. Did we mention he has an awesome sense of humour?
After working at Impact Care, Allambi and Thrive, in support and leadership Tom was attracted to work at Elsy by the values of the organisation and the culture of the team.
Sinead leads the rostering function for our support work team across Supported Independent Living homes, Day Programme and Community Access.
Sinead started as a support worker with Elsy having worked at Includa, and was then promoted to a management role supporting Abbey and the team with rostering, events and general management for the organisation.
Sinead was attracted to work for Elsy due to the culture and growth of the organisation, and the chance to develop with the organisation – we are lucky to have her!
